Long Island, like its name suggests is a long narrow island with a central ridge that runs parallel to the Queensland coast and is separated from the mainland by a deep narrow channel. Along the inshore side are a number of bays and inlets that have beautiful beaches and coconut palms waving in the sunlight. Three of these bays are home to separate holiday resorts and on Long Island, you are sure to find that one of these resorts will be right for you. near the southern end of Long Island is the small but impressive Paradise Bay Eco escape. This small resort only caters for a maximum of 16 guests at any one time and these are housed in beautiful beachfront cabins, set among the coconut palms. This is the ideal place to escape from the rat race and experience what isolated island living can be like yet still find all the creature comforts that you can imagine.
